Rye Hayabusa (the player) seeks out revenge after his entire clan is massacred by the Vigor Empire. The aim is to slice down the opponents while at the same time the player attempts to reclaim Ryuken, the magical sword. The player has to learn how to block, counter and time his attacks and know the right weapon to use for which enemy. The hard part is the one-on-one brawler especially when battling out with multiple opponents.
